While we are putting constant effort into improving game performance, it works fluently only on some laptops. Please keep in mind, that if tips here won't change much, you can ask Steam for a refund.
How to check if game should work on my laptop?
You can verify if your machine meets all criteria here. If it does, but still not runs, please use tips below and if nothing helps - please contact us.
If it does not meet minimal requirements, tips below doesn't help and game is not playable - refund seems good choice. Buying game just to try if it works and asking Steam for refund is nothing wrong. Please keep in mind that Steam has it's own rules you can check on mentioned page.
Tips that can help
Make sure that game is using correct graphic card
Many laptops have two graphic cards - proper one, and integrated one, used to reduce electric energy consumption. In most cases integrated card is good enough for office work, but not for 3D games.
In some cases operating system is assigning wrong card for game. It can happen on start, or during gameplay (for example after switching to web browser, or desktop recording software).
Solutions how to set default graphic card for particular game depends on your graphic card vendor. Various instructions how to do that are available in the internet, for example here.
Connect laptop to energy source
Most of laptops are slower while unplugged (to reduce power consumption).
Change Quality fo fastest
In Settings → Graphics please choose option below:
Change resolution to smaller
House Flipper is playable on 4K monitors or in other super-high resolutions, but only on really high-end machines. If you are using such resolution and face issues, we recommend switching resolution to something similar to Full HD (1920x1080) and checking if it solves your issue.
Change texture quality to smaller
In Settings → Effects you can choose smaller textures:
Setting it lower can help, especially if your graphic card has GB virtual memory or less. This process takes time - it needs to scale down every image in whole game - that's why it's hidden there.
